For vascular plants, Kew POWO/WCVP can be a primary accepted-name backbone, but taxonomy is versioned and another source may be more authoritative for a specific region or material context.
Accepted Name ≠ Eternal Truth
Store accepted name, author citation, source, source identifier/URL, verified date and synonyms.
Fruit ≠ Seed ≠ Root
Different parts can be different material entities even when the parent species is the same.
Processing Can Matter
Separate only when identity, safety, use or search intent is materially different.

To keep one canonical entity; other names remain searchable aliases.
Can one Chinese name map to multiple species?
Yes in some material contexts. P076 shows how ambiguity is recorded rather than forced.
Does a scientific name ever change?
Accepted taxonomic names can change as classifications are updated.
Does appearing here mean you sell it?
No.
Does appearing here prove safety or efficacy?
No.
Why not make an A page, B page and C page?
Those would create thin navigation pages without meaningful information gain.
