Learn Chinese Herbal Wellness
SanYuan Herbs Learn is the knowledge center for understanding Chinese botanical products, traditions, ingredients and everyday wellness practices before you buy or use them.
Start with a broad topic, then move into a reviewed guide, ingredient page, product collection, safety resource or evidence record.
Start Here
Where should a beginner start? Begin with Chinese Herbal Culture for context, then choose the product format or question that matters most: Herbal Tea, Incense, Moxibustion, Foot Soaks, Botanical Ingredients, Wellness Rituals or Product Testing & Evidence.
Choose a Topic
Each topic card is an entrance to a distinct knowledge path. It does not duplicate the full child guide, product collection or Ingredient Library.
Chinese Herbal Culture
Understand cultural background, naming, daily traditions and the difference between traditional context and modern product claims.
Herbal Tea
Start with tea concepts, brewing, terminology, ingredient relationships and safety before choosing a product.
Incense & Aroma
Learn what Chinese incense is made from, how materials differ, what smoke claims mean and how burning safety fits the topic.
Moxibustion
Learn what moxibustion is, common moxa formats, traditional context, smoke/fire safety and format comparisons.
Herbal Foot Soaks
Understand product formats, preparation, water-use instructions, mugwort vs general herbal formulas and safety.
Botanical Ingredients
Looking for one herb or material rather than a guide? Use the Ingredient Library for scientific identity, part, naming, safety and product relationships.
Wellness Rituals
Explore non-medical everyday routines such as tea, aroma, evening rituals and seasonal botanical culture.
Devices, AI & Evidence
For technology and evidence, follow methodology, device education, testing, limitations, privacy and model-specific evidence.
Start with Our Pillar Guides
These cards are not a “latest posts” feed. The runtime filter only accepts public content with Status = Published and Review Status = Passed or Not Required.
How-To Guides
How-To pages answer a concrete action. They should distinguish general education from exact product label instructions and include stop/safety information when relevant.
How to Brew Herbal Tea
Learn the practical variables that shape brewing, then defer to the exact product instructions when available.
Read Guide →How to Use Herbal Foot Soaks
Learn preparation, water use, duration, product-format differences and the safety information that should remain visible.

Safety Guides
SanYuan Herbs does not bury real safety questions simply because they involve symptom, medical or risk language. Safety content remains educational and evidence-aware rather than becoming a product cure claim.
Moxibustion Safety
Smoke, heat, fire, skin distance and product-use considerations.
Open Safety Guide →Incense Safety
Burning, ventilation, placement and product-specific warnings.
Reviewed guide appears when published →Foot Soak Safety
Water-use safety, external-use boundaries and product-label considerations.
Reviewed guide appears when published →Tea Safety & Interactions
Ingredient-specific cautions, interactions and population-specific considerations belong in reviewed content.
Reviewed guide appears when published →Device Safety
Model instructions, contraindications, use limitations and regulatory identity.
Device Evidence & Safety →Comparisons
P024 can surface reviewed comparison pages directly. A separate `/compare/` index page is unnecessary if it would only become a thin list.
Herbal Tea vs Tisane
Understand naming, category overlap and practical differences without turning terminology into product claims.
Read Comparison →Smokeless vs Traditional Moxa
Compare formats, use characteristics and evidence rather than assuming one is universally “better.”
Reviewed comparison appears when published →Agarwood vs Sandalwood
Separate material identity, aroma context, sourcing and product-specific evidence.
Reviewed comparison appears when published →Laser Comb vs Laser Cap
Compare form factor, use pattern, model evidence and technical limitations.
Reviewed comparison appears when published →Ingredient & Product Relationships
A structured relationship graph is more useful than a random “Related Posts” widget. Guides should hand users to the ingredient, product, safety, comparison and evidence pages that actually belong together.

→ Brewing Guide

→ Sandalwood Incense
→ Agarwood vs Sandalwood

Testing & Evidence
Guides discussing quality, smoke, ingredients, device specifications or physical testing should connect to first-party evidence where available.
Quality & Sourcing
Understand sourcing records, batch traceability, COAs, testing logic and evidence levels.
Open Quality & Sourcing →Testing & Evidence
Inspect public evidence records, reports and first-party test pages as they are released.
Open Evidence Library →
Recently Reviewed & Updated
This section is not a chronological blog feed. Eligibility requires published status, review eligibility, a meaningful update and a real visible dateModified.
Browse by User Question
The question shape often reveals the right canonical content type more clearly than a keyword tag.
Definitions & Pillar Guides
Start with a reviewed explainer or pillar guide.
How-To
Route to an action-oriented guide with product-specific instructions where relevant.
Safety
Route to a visible safety guide instead of hiding the question.
Compare
Route to a comparison with clear terms, evidence and related products.
Ingredient Library
Route to the botanical/material entity rather than duplicating an A–Z list here.
Quality & Evidence
Route to P023 and the specific evidence record.
Editorial & Expert Review
One reviewer should not be presented as an expert across culture, botany, medical safety, AI, devices and product testing. Each page can expose the review relationship that actually applies.
Editorial Review
Structure, sourcing, clarity and claims.
Botanical & Chinese Medicine Review
Plant identity, traditional context and terminology.
Safety Review
Use risks, contraindications and interactions where applicable.
Technical Review
Devices, AI methods and product testing.
Frequently Asked Questions
These answers define what Learn is—and what it deliberately does not try to become.
Is SanYuan Herbs Learn a medical advice site?
Learn is an educational knowledge center covering culture, products, ingredients, safety and modern research. Ordinary SanYuan Herbs content does not present products as diagnosing, treating, curing or preventing disease.
Does every article need a medical reviewer?
No. Review type should match the content. Cultural or editorial pieces may need source/editor review, while health safety, botanical identity, device or AI methodology pages may need qualified specialist review.
Why are some topics linked to product pages?
Because users often move from learning to choosing. The guide and product page have different primary intents and should link naturally.
Why is the Ingredient Library separate?
Ingredient pages are entity references for specific botanicals and materials; Learn pages explain broader topics and user questions.
Do you publish every draft in the Learn Hub?
No. Only published content that has passed review—or does not require specialist review under policy—should be promoted in the public Hub.
Do you create a page for every keyword?
No. New pages require distinct intent, real information gain and a clear canonical role.
Can Learn cover questions such as insomnia, anxiety or pain?
Educational health questions can be addressed when the framing, sourcing and review are appropriate. A search question is not the same as a product treatment claim.
Where can I see product testing or evidence?
Use the Quality & Sourcing hub for the evidence framework and the Testing & Evidence Library for specific public records.
